The Imelda Foundation recently launched as a new nonprofit organization! This is an exciting time for students to gain valuable real world experience, mentorship, insight into the day-to-day activities of an entrepreneurial nonprofit organization, guidance on how to stand out in the college admission and job application processes, and the opportunity to meet industry professionals and build a network. We are seeking interns with laptops to support our administrative, fundraising, database management, marketing, web design, graphic design, social media, and research needs. We are also seeking interns with computer science experience, as well as those interested in business development and entrepreneurship. We will offer college/graduate school credits. We will also accept high achieving high school students.
Desired qualifications/experiences/interests:
- Attention to detail
- Experience with critical race and feminist theories
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and the empowerment of women and girls of color
Time Commitment: 15-20 hours per week.
